Financial assistance
I
Many patients in treatment face financial hardship – the cost of treatment, travel, accommodation costs and getting meals all put a crimp in the family budget.
Houston ground angels and our dedicated volunteers seek to provide no cost road transportation to both local patients and those arriving or leaving by air.
Houston Ground Angels do NOT provide direct financial support but other non-profits provide vouchers for travel and hotel costs.
We encourage Patients and their families to actively research sources of support and the DIRECTORY which can be downloaded here – may be helpful. The Foundations and Providers listed should be approached individually. If you subscribe to the magazine – you will get regular updates which might be helpful as your treatment moves forward.
