Derek and Ann attend St. Dunstan’s Episcopal church close to FM1960 on Houston’s northside.
“Houston traffic is just another means to get people hassle free to where they need to be. My hope for Houston Ground Angels is to facilitate getting added volunteer drivers and supporting the organization in getting out the group’s message. Our driver volunteers show travellers the best of Houston. “

Gerry has been a driver volunteer since July 2019 and has driven over 650 missions – joined the HGA Board in January 2022. Timothy (Tim) Stone

Tim who joined the Board in November 2022 lives with his wife Kristen and two kids in the Sugar Land area of Houston. He is a Senior Business Development Manager for Bechtel’s LNG business line. Through his own diagnosis with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and treatment challenges, he began to understand the heavy burden that a critical medical condition can mean financially and on family/friends. He is in remission after 6 months of treatment at MD Anderson.
“At a meeting with medical staff from the Houston VA Hospital, it hit me hard learning that many veterans fail to show up for their surgery appointments – citing the lack of transportation. “ He is enthusiastic that Houston Ground Angels provides these services and hopes to get our message out to our veterans.
Tim and his family attend the River Pointe Church in Richmond and as a follower of Jesus Christ seeks to demonstrate God’s love through service. A keep fit enthusiast; Tim recently completed a Spartan obstacle race as part of a F3 Nation team.

Paul was invited to join the Board at the end of 2024. He first volunteered during 2023 and has already driven over 400 missions.
